Brad Svrluga has backed founders since 2000. He co-founded High Peaks Venture Partners and in 2015 launched Primary Venture Partners with Ben Sun; he is its managing partner and co-chief investment officer.
Messy, high-stakes operations
He looks for builders tackling messy, high-stakes problems in enterprise software, supply chain and industrial technology. His thesis on Primary's site starts from "costly, repeatable failures" in complex operational systems and expects founders to use AI to build judgment and execution directly into real workflows.
His investments include the identity decisioning company Alloy, the mental health company Alma and the seafloor mapping company Bedrock.
