Mission

We compile reviews & evaluations of AI tools and resources. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, we do not accept sponsorships or advertising of any kind.

AI Industry Reviews helps buyers cut through noise and find vendors worth evaluating — with categories that match how teams actually buy, and reviews grounded in evidence. We cover the picks-and-shovels of the AI industry: platforms, infrastructure, tooling, data, talent markets, trust & compliance, and professional services.

Founder

AI Industry Reviews is founded and run by Darin ten Bruggencate.

Darin is a long-time AI industry veteran with deep-tech expertise and a passion for assessing the products and services that serve the AI industry. His career has been spent around hard technical products and skeptical buyers, including go-to-market and product marketing roles across electronic design automation and AI-driven hardware tooling at firms such as Cadence, Synopsys, Altium, and Quilter. That background shapes how AI Industry Reviews evaluates vendors: proof over hype, clarity over slogans, and categories that match how the industry actually buys.

Overall Score & inclusion

Each review leads with an Overall Score on a 0–10 scale. Beneath it, category bars split in two: buyer-outcome dimensions that change by vendor type (what customers usually hire the product or firm to do), and a shared company-commercial set — Innovation & product leadership, Project management & communication, Pricing, and Contract fairness. We prefer emerging and mid-market AI-enablers where an independent review still helps a buyer decide, and we place vendors by buyer jobs-to-be-done rather than vendor marketing language. No paid placement, review-for-access, or affiliate kickbacks tied to coverage.
