Why watch

He grew New York's enterprise tech meetup into a community of more than 10,000 and backs AI, developer tool and infrastructure founders at seed.

Jonathan Lehr founded the NY Enterprise Technology Meetup, which now has more than 10,000 members, and co-founded Work-Bench, a seed fund for enterprise software in New York, New York, where he is a general partner investing in AI and machine learning, developer tools and infrastructure.

Backing Chamelio

Work-Bench led the seed round for Chamelio, an AI contract platform for in-house legal teams. In a 2026 post on Chamelio's Series A, Lehr wrote that the investment was "rooted in a simple belief" that in-house legal teams deserve AI that knows their business, and recalled that the founders hosted twelve legal leaders the same night as their final pitch to the firm.
