Zach Bratun-Glennon started out as a quant and data engineer at a hedge fund and later led acquisitions and strategic investments for Google Cloud. As a general partner at Gradient he has led investments in more than 35 companies and served on more than 25 startup boards, and he lives in San Francisco, California.

Banking, law school and business school

Between the hedge fund and Google Cloud he advised software companies as an investment banker. He holds a B.S. in computer science and applied mathematics from the University of Virginia, a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

His investments cover AI and machine learning, data science, vertical software, B2B marketplaces and fintech, and include Lambda, Rad AI, Clarify, Stack AI and Nango.
