Seed AI infrastructure Tel Aviv, Israel
A former intelligence officer and hedge fund data chief, he argues that startups building around AI chip constraints will own the next decade.
Judah Taub engineered an intelligence project that won the Israel Defense Forces' 2014 Creativity Award, then became head of data at Lansdowne Partners, a hedge fund in London, United Kingdom. He co-founded Hetz Ventures, a seed fund in Tel Aviv, Israel, for Israeli founders in AI and data infrastructure and cybersecurity, and is its managing partner.
Lectures and a book for new soldiers
He served as an officer in a classified IDF intelligence unit. He has lectured on time management and creative thinking, including in the IDF and at the Wharton School, and wrote a book for new IDF soldiers published by Yediot.
Writing on AI chips
In a 2026 interview with Calcalist he said: "When Taiwan gets tense, every AI chip gets expensive. Companies building around that constraint will own the next decade." He has also written for The Jerusalem Post on three bets Israel should make to ride the Nvidia wave into the AI age.
Hetz led the $12 million seed round for Keewano, a Tel Aviv company building a database that keeps each customer's events in order so AI agents can investigate behavior, in 2026.
