AI agent security Low-code
Kliger is building Zenity to secure the AI agents and low-code apps that business users now build for themselves, outside any developer pipeline.
Ben Kliger is co-founder and CEO of Zenity, a security company for AI agents, copilots, and low-code apps built by business users. A cybersecurity product leader who started out in Unit 8200, the Israeli military’s signals intelligence unit, he spent nearly six years in security at Microsoft before co-founding Zenity in 2021 with Michael Bargury.
Unit 8200 and Microsoft cloud security
Kliger told Pulse 2.0 he has worked in cybersecurity for more than 18 years, beginning in Unit 8200 and moving through product management roles. At Microsoft he worked in the cloud security division, where he met Bargury. “We immediately clicked and became good friends as we worked closely together,” he said.
Apps built outside IT
Inside Microsoft the two watched employees use business tools to build their own apps, automations, reports, and bots outside IT’s view, many of them poorly configured and connected to sensitive internal data. Zenity started by securing that low-code work and has moved on to AI agents and enterprise copilots, which Kliger calls “the same type of motion as low-code” because both put building power in the hands of people who do not write code.
Zenity’s researchers have presented at Black Hat, including 2024 research showing how attackers could take remote control of enterprise copilots.
