Greg Clark
Co-founder and Managing Partner
Crosspoint Capital Partners
Greg Clark is co-founder and managing partner of Crosspoint Capital Partners, the Menlo Park, California firm focused on cybersecurity, privacy, and infrastructure software. Crosspoint's own materials say he leads investment strategy and day-to-day decisions across the firm's vehicles. He is Australian by background and holds a B.S. from Griffith University.
From Dascom to Symantec
Clark founded security software firm Dascom, acquired by IBM in 1999, then served as a Distinguished Engineer and vice president at IBM's Tivoli Systems. He later founded and led E2open, ran Mincom through its sale to ABB, and was CEO of Blue Coat Systems from 2011 until Symantec bought it in 2016. He then served as CEO and a board member of Symantec from August 2016 to May 2019, and has also been an operating partner at Thoma Bravo. Crosspoint launched after that operating run, with several managing partners sharing Blue Coat and Symantec history.
Crosspoint's first Israeli AI security bet
In September 2026 Crosspoint led the $72 million Series B for MIND, an AI-native data-loss-prevention company, after an earlier check around MIND's Series A and RSAC Innovation Sandbox appearance. Reporting on the round described it as Crosspoint's first investment in an Israeli company, with firm capital of roughly $35 million into the B and a valuation near $300 million. The bet sits squarely in Clark's long cyber operating lane: security budgets created by AI adoption, aimed at vendors built for agents and chatbots rather than for the prior generation of DLP.
