Alex Meyer first knew eCircle from the investor's side, as one of its venture backers, before he crossed over to become the company's chief financial officer. He is back on the investor's side as a general partner at 42CAP, which points to his record scaling SaaS companies and leading mergers and acquisitions.
Finance chief at eCircle and Teradata
As CFO he ran eCircle's international field organization and its ad tech business unit. When Teradata bought eCircle in 2012, he became CFO and COO of the resulting Marketing Cloud business unit and joined Teradata's global leadership.
He holds an MSc in aeronautics and astronautics from the Technical University of Munich in Germany and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
