He has lived in India, Nigeria and Sudan. He earned a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he received the President's Gold Medal.
TringTring.com, Microsoft and McKinsey
Early in his career he founded TringTring.com, one of the first search engines in Asia, set up Unilever's operations in Nepal, and led marketing and pre-sales teams at Cadence Design Systems. He later worked at McKinsey & Company and was general manager of Microsoft's online advertising business.
Board seats and B2BaCEO
At Foundation he led investments in TubeMogul, FreeWheel, Tubi and Custora, and his board seats include Arize, Skyflow, Fortanix and Conviva. Turing co-founder Jonathan Siddharth, quoted on Foundation's site, said: "He's the kind of person I would've wanted on our founding team from the very beginning."
