7.5/10
Overall Score
Recommend

Hyperbound is a strong pick for sales teams that want reps practicing against realistic AI buyers every week, with a free tier to try it.

Best for

SDR and AE teams that want cold-call and discovery practice against AI buyers built from their own ideal customer profiles.

Not ideal for

Teams that want a full learning management system, or small sales teams that will not build custom scenarios.

Verdict

Hyperbound is an AI sales roleplay and coaching platform from San Francisco, started in Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch. Sales teams use it so reps can practice cold calls, discovery, and objection handling against AI buyers modeled on their real customers, and so managers can score real calls against the same rubric. It earns attention because it replaces shadowing and manager roleplays, which rarely happen often enough, with practice reps can do every day.

How it's used

“Hyperbound has fundamentally changed the math within our organization and allowed us to scale.”

Stevie Case, CRO, Vanta · source
What people like

“We’re seeing more of our reps hitting quota in 2026 versus 2025, and a big piece of that is Hyperbound.”

Cody Normand, Head of Enablement, Klaviyo · source
What people don't like

“The free roleplays are fine for a taste, but the custom buyer bots and the scorecards are only on the enterprise plans, so we had to go through a sales process to use it with our own scripts.”
