Browser agents Ex-Gopuff ML
Singh is building Skyvern so companies can automate form filling and portal work across hundreds of websites that were never built for software.
Suchintan Singh is co-founder and CEO of Skyvern, a Y Combinator company from the Summer 2023 batch that makes an open-source AI browser agent. He runs it with co-founder Shuchang Zheng.
Machine learning at Faire and Gopuff
Singh learned C++ from his father in grade seven and wrote bots for the game RuneScape in high school. Before Skyvern he built machine learning platforms at the wholesale marketplace Faire and then at the delivery company Gopuff. Skyvern was the team's third idea, after a tool for onboarding new engineers and Wyvern AI, a ranking service for online marketplaces.
Back-office work nobody sees
Skyvern reads web pages with large language models and computer vision, so it can work on sites it has never seen. Singh describes the target as dull, repeated work. “We help companies automate, like really boring things like form filling particularly interacting with government websites or generating insurance quotes online,” he said on the APIs You Won't Hate podcast. “So really targeting like the back office companies, things that people don't even know happen in a company.”
