Steve Luczo led Seagate Technology as chief executive twice, from 1998 to 2004 and from 2009 to 2017, and Crosspoint says his second run put the data storage company among the five best-performing stocks in the S&P 500. He is a co-founder and senior partner of Crosspoint Capital Partners.

He chaired Seagate's board from 2002 to 2017 and stayed on as executive chairman until October 2018.
Before Seagate he was senior managing director of the Global Technology Group at the investment bank Bear, Stearns & Co.
He graduated from Stanford University, earned an MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and holds an honorary doctorate from Queen's University Belfast in Northern Ireland.
