Magos believes recruiting is the next field where people will direct AI agents instead of doing every task by hand, and more than 7,000 companies already hire with Metaview.
“The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next,” Siadhal Magos said in September 2026. He is co-founder and CEO of Metaview, a London and San Francisco recruiting platform that began with AI interview notes and now runs agents for sourcing, application review, and screening.
Hiring at Uber
Magos joined Uber in March 2016 and spent more than two years on the hiring panel for nearly every product manager, designer, data scientist, and product marketing role in EMEA, he wrote on Metaview's blog. Uber grew from roughly 7,000 to more than 16,000 people in that time. “Interviewing is not a distraction from your job. It is the job,” he wrote.
Opening the Black Box
He came away convinced that interviews were a black box, with decisions shaped by who asked what and which summary was loudest. In 2018 he and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, a former technical lead at Palantir, founded Metaview to capture those conversations. The platform has since captured more than 6 million interviews.
From Notes to Agents
Metaview raised a $60 million Series C led by Insight Partners in September 2026, bringing its total funding to $110 million. Magos wrote that the money would fund new agents, including a dedicated screening agent, along with fillmore, an autonomous recruiting coworker, and growth from about 80 people to 250.
