Ryan Glasgow
Founder and CEO
Sprig
Ryan Glasgow is founder and CEO of Sprig, the product-experience insights company he started in 2019 (originally as UserLeap). He came out of founding-PM roles at startups that later exited, including Weebly and Vurb, and built Sprig around the question he kept emailing users by hand: why did you come back, or why did you leave?
Five early PM seats and the research gap
On the Sprig blog Glasgow describes joining five startups as a founding product manager, including Vurb (acquired by Snapchat) and Weebly (acquired by Square). Even with analytics tools he still found qualitative answers arrived too late for the release cadence, which is the pain he left Weebly to productize.
Sprig as AI-native product feedback
As CEO of Sprig he raised capital from firms including a16z, Accel, and First Round and steered the company from micro-surveys into an AI-assisted research platform used by product teams at companies like Notion, Figma, and Dropbox. The public thesis stays close to continuous, in-product insight rather than slow lab studies alone.
