CEO and co-founder · Quantified
Life sciences sales TED speaker
Zandan is building Quantified so pharma and medical device reps can practice conversations with AI doctors and stay on label before they meet real ones.
Noah Zandan is CEO and co-founder of Quantified, a company in Austin, Texas, that makes AI roleplay and coaching software for life sciences sales teams. He started it in 2012 with Peter Zandan. The company launched its AI Roleplay product in 2022.
From finance to the science of speaking
Zandan studied economics at Dartmouth and earned an MBA at Kellogg. He worked at Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, and the private equity firm Brentwood Associates before turning to communication research. His TED and TED-Ed talks on the science of persuasive speaking have been watched more than 20 million times, and he wrote the book Insights Into Influence, published in 2020.
Built for pharma
Quantified now focuses on pharma, medical device, and other regulated sales teams, where reps have to discuss clinical data without going off label. “Pharma sales training teams need AI roleplay, but they need industry-specific capabilities, too,” Zandan said in a 2025 product announcement about avatars that can see and respond to the materials a rep shows them.
Outside the company he runs the Rockway Foundation.
