Feldman built Stampli around the invoice itself as the place where AP teams, approvers, and vendors work, and he chose to build every ERP integration in-house.
Eyal Feldman is co-founder and chief executive of Stampli, an accounts payable and procure-to-pay software company in Mountain View, California. He spent the years before Stampli selling and running enterprise document software, and he started Stampli in 2015 with Ofer Feldman, who serves as its chief technology officer.
Starting at Colgate-Palmolive
Feldman graduated with honors from Ben-Gurion University with a bachelor's degree in economics and later earned an MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, according to his Forbes Business Council profile. Early in his career he was a business analyst at Colgate-Palmolive, where he worked on a worldwide project to unite the company's subsidiaries on shared business systems.
Building the Documentum Business at Ness
He then became vice president of business solutions at Ness, an IT services company. There he built the Documentum document management business in Israel from its start to market leadership, and he won a government-wide agreement that moved public administration toward paperless work.
Founding Stampli Around the Invoice
Stampli began as accounts payable software that put every conversation, document, approval, and coding decision on top of the invoice, so approvers and AP staff stopped chasing each other by email. In a 2020 interview, Feldman described a product that learns each organization's patterns to suggest GL coding, send approval reminders, and flag duplicate invoices.
Choosing to Build Every ERP Integration
Rather than rely on third-party connectors, Stampli writes and maintains its own integrations with each ERP it supports, which is slower to build but lets the ERP stay the system of record. "We aren't aware of any other P2P automation software with a philosophy to build its own ERP integrations from scratch," Feldman says on the company's About page. Stampli has since added procurement, payments, cards, and an AI agent called Billy to that base.
