6.4/10
Overall Score
Conditional recommend

Forethought suits high-volume support orgs with history to train on and appetite to tune Autoflows. Pricing stays quote-led. Approach with caution for most buyers in this category.

Best for

Mid-market to enterprise support teams with large ticket history that need omnichannel AI agents, triage, and agent assist.

Not ideal for

Small teams that need transparent self-serve pricing, or shops without enough historical tickets to train reliable flows.

Verdict

Forethought is a conditional recommend for high-volume CX teams that can staff implementation and keep Autoflows tuned. Solve, Triage, Assist, and Discover cover more of the support workflow than a single chatbot SKU, and the Zendesk acquisition clarifies the long-term stack for Zendesk shops. Accuracy and reporting still need care, and the commercial model stays opaque until sales quotes platform plus outcome fees.

Pricing

Forethought publishes named Team, Professional, and Enterprise packages with add-ons, but no public dollar rates. Commercials blend a platform fee with outcome- or usage-based charges, now sold through Zendesk enterprise sales. As of September 2026.

Team, Professional, and Enterprise are quote-led. Proof of Value replaces a classic free trial. Optional Multibrand, Analytics API, Discover, and voice capacity are packaged in the sales conversation. Third-party procurement datasets cite five-figure annual contracts; treat those as directional, verify with Zendesk.
