The firm says it made its first AI investment in 2021 and runs an AI program for its portfolio companies. Its name is Latin for "not for self."
Partner Bernard Harris spent more than 20 years as a NASA astronaut. TechCrunch reported that his background helped the firm get comfortable with Satlyt, a company that builds software to run AI models on satellites.
