Zayd Enam
Co-founder
Cresta
Zayd Enam is a co-founder of Cresta, the contact-center AI company he built with Sebastian Thrun and Tim Shi. He served as CEO from founding until 2023, when Ping Wu became CEO and Enam moved into an advisory and board role while remaining part of the founding story.
Stanford ML into contact-center AI
Enam's path runs through machine-learning research and the early Cresta thesis that voice and chat agents need live guidance on what to say next. With Thrun and Shi he positioned Cresta for enterprise support floors where quality and compliance matter as much as deflection rates.
CEO years and the leadership handoff
As CEO he raised venture capital and scaled Cresta's generative-AI offerings for customer experience teams. Cresta's 2023 leadership update named Ping Wu CEO to accelerate that generative wave, with Enam continuing as co-founder in an advisory capacity.
