Medina, who founded sales engagement company Outreach, is building billing for AI agents on the view that agents should be paid for the work they finish, not for seats.
Manny Medina is co-founder and CEO of Paid, a London company that builds metering, pricing, and billing for makers of AI agents. He is best known as the founder of Outreach, the sales engagement platform.
Building Outreach for Sales Teams
Before Paid, he founded Outreach, which sales teams use to run email and call sequences. TechCrunch described him in 2025 as best known for that company when it covered his new venture.
Starting Paid for AI Agents
Paid starts from the idea that agents sell work rather than access. "If you're a quiet agent, you don't get paid," he told TechCrunch, arguing that agents running in the background need a way to show customers the work they did. Paid meters agent events, prices them, bills customers, and links each invoice line to the event behind it.
He co-founded the company with Manoj Ganapathy, chief product officer, and Raj Dosanjh, chief technology officer. Paid's about page says its team comes from Salesforce Billing, Palantir, and Simon-Kucher, and it pairs software with monetization strategists who help customers design pricing. Early customers reported by TechCrunch include Artisan.
