Krishna Mehra
AI Partner
Elevation Capital
Krishna Mehra is an AI partner at Elevation Capital, based in the San Francisco Bay Area and focused on enterprise AI. Elevation's materials describe a path that runs through Capillary Technologies, the India SaaS company he co-founded in 2008; Taro, a meal business later acquired by EAT Club; exabyte-scale cloud systems work at Cohesity; and engineering leadership for messaging ads at Meta, where he worked on large machine-learning systems including early Llama adoption. He graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech in computer science and has angel-backed dozens of companies.
Elevation's AI seat
He joined Elevation as AI partner in late 2024 to deepen the firm's work with SaaS and AI founders across the India–U.S. corridor. On Elevation's site he has written about pairing Silicon Valley go-to-market experience with India's engineering depth, and about treating the founder journey as a long partnership rather than a single financing event. He publishes separately on his Day Zero blog.
The Dextr seed
In September 2026 he led Elevation's first institutional check into Dextr AI, a San Francisco, California company building connected AI agents for hotels, with Foundation Capital participating in a $6.7 million seed. He told Crunchbase News that Dextr had scaled to hundreds of contracted properties and meaningful recurring revenue without raising a dollar, with zero churn and a clear return story for operators—an execution-first bar he said matches what Elevation looks for.
