Umesh Kumar is co-founder and CEO of Runable, a Bengaluru company building a general-purpose agent for small businesses. He previously co-founded edtech startup SkoolStream. He founded Runable in 2025 with Saksham Sarda after an earlier browser-infrastructure direction pivoted toward an agent that builds and grows businesses.

From SkoolStream to Runable

Kumar co-founded and sold SkoolStream before starting Runable with Saksham Sarda in 2025. Business Wire materials describe Sarda as coding from age 12 and working on decentralized payment protocols by 18.

Build, then grow

Runable first showed up as users asking a browser agent to make decks and sites. The company then widened the agent into acquisition work-ads, social, SEO/AEO, outbound-on the thesis that starting is cheap and running is still expensive.
