SiMa.ai

A physical-AI platform of Modalix silicon plus the Palette software suite for vision, transformers, and generative models at the edge.

7.2/10
Overall Score
Recommend

SiMa.ai is a real edge-silicon shortlist item for teams that must run models on device, with thinner public customer evidence than the product story.

Best for

Robotics, automotive, industrial, and smart-vision teams that need on-device inference.

Not ideal for

Teams whose models run as cloud APIs or on general-purpose data-center GPUs.

Verdict

Hire SiMa.ai when the model has to run on the device and a data-center GPU is the wrong power and latency budget. Modalix is the MLSoC. Palette is the software around it, including an SDK and a no-code tool, aimed at vision, transformers, and generative models at the edge.

The company says Modalix is shipping. An August 1, 2025 round of $85 million, led by Maverick Capital, took disclosed capital to $355 million.
