Kartik Chandrayana

Kartik Chandrayana is CEO of Empirik, a San Francisco company building an AI agent for infrastructure change. Sequoia incubated the product with founders Avon Puri and Sudheer Dhurjati, then recruited Chandrayana to lead the independent company. He previously founded Twin Prime (acquired by Salesforce), spent years as Salesforce VP of Product for observability and big data, and was chief product officer at Quantum Metric.

From Twin Prime to observability product

Chandrayana founded Twin Prime and sold it to Salesforce, then spent years building observability and big-data product there. TechCrunch notes he most recently served as chief product officer at Quantum Metric before joining Empirik as CEO in 2026.

Spinning Empirik out of Sequoia

Empirik began inside Sequoia when Avon Puri and Sudheer Dhurjati built an early version focused on change risk. Sequoia's partnership note describes incubating the company, then spinning it out with Chandrayana as CEO for the September 2026 launch and $21 million seed.
