Co-founder and CEO

Logic20/20

Why watch

O'Meara left enterprise software sales in Britain to start Logic20/20 in Seattle in 2005. He has grown it into a national consulting firm that helps utilities, financial services companies and other regulated industries plan and deliver data and AI work.

Christian O'Meara is co-founder and chief executive of Logic20/20, a consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington, that advises companies on strategy, analytics and AI and then helps carry out the work. He started it in 2005 with the belief, as his company biography puts it, "that a group of like-minded people, doing work that they love, can accomplish great things."

Selling Software in Britain and Ireland

Before he moved to Seattle, O'Meara sold enterprise software for Quest Software and Cabletron Systems, covering the United Kingdom and Ireland, and his Logic20/20 biography describes him as a top performer in those roles.

Starting Logic20/20 in 2005

He set out to build a firm that worked differently from other consultancies, focused on local consulting instead of the Monday-to-Thursday travel common in the industry, according to a post on his personal site. Writing on the Logic20/20 blog in 2021, he recalled that the founders "envisioned a group of super-smart people who love to work hard and have fun while they're doing it." He still spends much of his time on business development and on recruiting key people, and he describes his strategy as creating simplicity in complex environments.

Expanding Into Data and AI Consulting

Logic20/20 now sells advanced analytics, digital transformation and strategy and operations work to clients in energy and utilities, financial services, insurance, healthcare, government and other industries. On the CEO Sales Strategies podcast, O'Meara talked about how AI is changing sales teams, arguing that "a winning mindset is the foundation of sales success" and that AI "won't change that, but it will amplify those who have it."

Personal Life

His company biography says his first job is being a dad. He volunteers at his children's school, coaches soccer and sits on the board of a Seattle-area youth soccer club. He plays rugby with the Northwest Old Boys, and in 2015 he and Colin Moy worked with neighbors to found the West Seattle Wildcats, a youth rugby league for first through eighth graders that he still coaches and sponsors.

Relief work in Uganda earlier in his life led to a lasting tie with Leaders for Africa, a group that provides educational opportunities to students from developing African nations. He is a board member and sponsor.
