Bhagsain wants presentations to start from an idea or document, not a blank slide, inside the editors people already use.
Anurag Bhagsain is founder and chief executive of SlidesAI, an AI presentation product that turns notes, prompts, and documents into decks for Google Slides, PowerPoint, ChatGPT, and the web.
Launching SlidesAI in January 2023
He founded SlidesAI in January 2023 with the goal of making presentation creation as easy as expressing an idea, according to SlidesAI. The first product was an AI-powered Google Slides add-on.
Adding PowerPoint and a Web App
As usage grew, SlidesAI added a PowerPoint add-in, a ChatGPT integration, and a web app. Keeping quality consistent across editors while staying cheap enough for students and small teams has been the standing product tension.
