Mitch Grasso

Mitch Grasso is co-founder of Beautiful.ai, the presentation company known for adaptive slide design and AI-assisted decks. He helped invent a product where layout rules and, later, generative features take on the design grunt work.

Design systems for slides

Beautiful.ai's early differentiation was smart templates that reflow as users add content. Grasso's media-kit portrait sits beside CEO Jason Lapp in the company's press materials as a founding face of that design-system approach.

AI features and growth capital

The company later layered context-aware AI workflows onto the core product and announced a large General Catalyst customer-value investment in 2026 alongside earlier Series B funding. Product marketing now spans classic Beautiful.ai design automation and generative assistance.

On slides as structured work

The founding idea treats presentations as structured information that software can layout, not blank canvases. That systems taste is still visible in how Beautiful.ai explains AI features to business users.
